How We Work
It's been tried, it's been tested, and it's stood the test of time — we think our happy clients would agree.

Kick-Off.
To get the ball rolling, the handiest thing you can do is fill in our Start Project form. Or if you prefer, we can chat by email, phone or Zoom.

Rough Req's.
Think of this as the requirements gathering stage. There'll likely be lots of back and fourth til we're satisfied we've got all the information we need. The more detail you give us, the quicker we can progress.

Proposal.
A really long and boring document, or blueprint if you rather, outlining the exact scope of works — everything you will get, and everything you won't. All jokes aside, this keeps all parties right.

Design.
So much goes on during this phase that one short paragraph simply won't do it justice. Between research, UX, UI, and the obligatory tug of war between design and development, it might be best reach out to us for all the deets. To keep it short and sweet however, you'll receive a Figma link to a prototyped version of your bespoke website.

Dev.
All of our websites are built from scratch, and start life as an empty folder on our developers desktop. Similar to design, there's lots of pieces to this puzzle — the back-end will be built, and front-end coded; the website will be tested on a range of devices and browsers; and all functionality will be checked and double-checked. You'll receive a staging link once the website is more or less ready to go live.

Training.
Once you've had a nosey at the staging link, it's time to get you trained on how to use your new website. Depending on how complex your project is, a training session can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 or 2 hours. And although our back-ends are really easy to use, we're happy to look after it if you prefer.

Launch.
It sounds very dramatic, and a bit like we're kicking you out the door. That's deffo not the case though! The process itself is very controlled, and relatively straightforward. And just because your websites “live”, doesn't mean you can't speak to us. Please, please just drop us a message if anything crops up.

Support.
When it's a little bit more than bug-fixing, but not quite as much as a project add-on, that's where ongoing support comes in. We trust our clients like they trust us, so usually do this pro-rata, and bill it along with your hosting come year end. And should you wish to see where the time was spent, we can send you a report with all the deets from our Toggl.
